In early October along the Spree and the Rhine an extraordinary pleasure is awaiting the connaisseur: Kokuto shochu.

Manufacturers of this Japanese rare specialty from sugar cane and rice koij are presenting at the fair "Bar Convent" in Berlin. And they invite on the evening of October 7th at the Hotel Adlon for tasting their distillates in a pairing with the delicate meat of the famous Kagoshima Wagyu.

On October 9th, Dusseldorf is all about the Kokuto shochu.

In the evening, eight producers of Kokuto Shochu present their products in four restaurants in the city.

BERLIN October 7th from 19-20hrs:
Opening Event "KOKUTO Shochu Fair" in the Bar Sra Bua by Tim Raue in the Hotel Adlon Kempinski. 8 manufacturers from Japan are present.
Head bartender Gregor Dill is appointed as “Shochu Ambassador” on October 6th by the "Kagoshima Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry". His eight creative shochu cocktails are presented that day. Then Kokuto-Shochu and a Kagoshima wagyu menu is offered at the gourmet restaurant. Menu price incl. Kokuto shochu and wine 140 Euros.
