Teriyaki Salmon

Recipe: Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients for 2 persons:

2 slices of salmon fillet (180g each)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons mirin

1 teaspoon dried sansho or some sansho powder

Preparation:

Mix soy sauce and mirin to teriyaki marinade. Put salmon for about 30 minutes in marinade (use a plastic bag to save marinade). Heat oil in the pan, then fry the fish about 3 minutes on each side. Pour off excess oil and add the remaining marinade into the pan. Heat up briefly and put the fish into the sauce for a short while. Crumble the sansho between fingers over the salmon or finish with a tiny bit of sansho powder.

Sake Tipp:

Sake with delicate aroma and good body like:

Amabuki Himmelswind

Fukuju Kobe Classic

Shichiken Silk

Urakasumi Zen
