Amami Oshima Umeshu

Amami Oshima Umeshu is a rare, handcrafted plum sake based on sugar cane shochu. It is produced by macerating plums from Kyushu with Muscovado sugar from the island of Amami-Oshima over a period of two years. This elaborate process gives it an intense plum aroma with subtle hints of marzipan and the characteristic scent of muscovado. It is ideal as a digestif, neat or on the rocks, as well as a cocktail base, in sorbets or paired with desserts.
