Das passende Pairing Katsuyama Lei

This fruity, almost sweet sake goes in a modern direction and also appeals to guests who don't like the classic sake or a good sake to get in. Due to its low alcohol and the aroma it is very versatile. It can be used well with strong cheese, thanks to its fruity component. I decided to have a dessert. The dessert has a good contrast between sweet and fresh. The freshness of lemon or rhubarb stands out well from the sake and gives the whole thing a whole new freshness. The sweet components of the Italian meringue with mountain pine sugar or the cotton candy support the taste and the fruity aroma of the sake. The glacier crackers get along very well with the mild acidity.

Katsuyama Lei

勝山 Katsuyama Lei

This sake was composed as a pairing to French cuisine. Its delicate Umami and fine sweetness harmonize exceptionally well with raw ham, cheese and desserts.
