Nanbu Bijin Tokubetsu Junmai smells intensely of pears, apples and pleasant notes of rice. On the palate it develops a fine taste of rice with a dry impression and a fruity note. It is served with “Yuan-Style Grilled Wagyu Fillet with Cider”. The smooth rice flavor of this sake enhances the taste of the ingredients in the dish. The umami from the grilled fillet harmonises with the fruity and mild taste of this sake. The flavors of the pickled apple and the cider yuan marinade develop a balanced acidity and sweetness in the mouth. The refreshing aftertaste of the sake is a character of the rice variety "Ginotome", which the brewery researched with local farmers. This sake is a work that embodies the best of the terroir. Out of the terroir idea, as well as out of love for our second home, we have added the Frankfurt specialty apple wine to this dish. Enjoy this sake chilled at 12℃ with company.
