This elegant Junmai Daiginjo represents the pinnacle of traditional sake brewing. The high degree of polishing of the rice results in fine, fruity aromas and complexity. Fine acidity and the crisp and fine umami stand out clearly and make this sake unique. Den is an excellent choice as a food accompaniment to tuna sashimi, from fatty to medium fatty, as well as with salmon sushi or other aromatic dishes. It also goes well with meat and meat dishes, whether Japanese or Western-style, as well as other dishes that emphasize umami.
Den comes from the word “tradition” and refers to the traditional way this sake is brewed. The name Den also means “to convey thoughts and feelings”.
